Consultation
Prof. Aßmann offers a official consultation on Thursdays 11:00-13:00. Please log your visit at the Secretary. (As Prof. Aßmann is usually overloaded with emails, he can direct emails often very late answer).
Internship in the main study "Software Engineering in Industrial Practice
This internship will take place in industry on an individual base. Students, working in industry, shall write a report of 10-15 pages and hands it in to Prof. A�mann for reviewing. If the report is good, the student get's a certificate
Research seminar
There is a research seminar for for PhD students, staff and interested master students. Appointments will be given on request.
PhD Seminar
There is a half-annual doctoral symposium for PhD students of the chair, where the current status of the thesis is reviewed and defense talks can be excercised.
Chair seminar
At the
chair's seminar, students writing bachlor, minor, master or diploma theses present their work either in semi-defenses or final defenses.

Konzeption eines Frameworks zur Verknüpfung semantisch fundierter Code-Generate
Der Einsatz mehrerer domänenspezifischer Sprachen (DSL) zur Entwicklung komplexer Software-Systeme hat viele Vorteile. Neben einer klaren Trennung unterschiedlicher Aufgabenbereiche, zählen hierzu bessere Möglichkeiten zur Wiederverwendung einzelner Modelle. Die semantisch konsistente Verknüpfung verschiedener Modelle bzw. ihrer Metamodelle kann auf Basis einer reich axiomatisierten Upper-Ontology gewährleistet werden. Die Integrationsmöglichkeiten einzelner Modell-Implementierungen in einem generativen Szenario bleiben jedoch problematisch. So ist die Generierung von Glue-Code zwischen einzelnen Architekturimplementierungen beispielsweise nur möglich, wenn Kompositionswissen aus diesen Implementierungen bekannt ist oder bekannt gemacht wird.Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, in einem modellgetriebenen Szenario ein Konzept zur Anreicherung von Code-Generator-Vorlagen mit zusätzlichem Wissen (z.B. Konventionen, Annotationen, Verträgen) auszuarbeiten, um eine Verknüpfung potentiell beliebiger Implementierungen zu ermöglichen. Für die Realisierung dieser Verknüpfung sind u.a. Techniken invasiver Software Komposition anzuwenden. Weiterhin ist die Relation von semantischen Verbindungsstrukturen zwischen einzelnen Modellen und deren Kompositions- bzw. Integrationsstrukturen zu untersuchen. Die erarbeiteten Konzepte sind abschließend an einem praktischen Beispiel zu evaluieren.
Im Einzelnen sind folgende Aufgaben zu bearbeiten:
- Untersuchung des aktuellen Standes der Technik im Bereich der Glue-Code Generierung
- Klassifizierung von Glue-Code-Mechanismen, unter Berücksichtigung
- des Entwicklungsstadiums ihres Einsatzes (Design-Zeit vs. Laufzeit)
- ihres Komplexitätsgrades (Aspekt vs. Middleware)
- ihrer Konfigurations- und Anpassbarkeit (z.B. Parametrisierung)
- Konzeption und prototypische Implementierung eines Frameworks zur Verknüpfung semantisch fundierter Code-Generate
- Analyse der Relation zwischen semantischen Strukturen und Glue-Code
- Entwicklung von Metamodellen für klassifizierte Glue-Code Mechanismen
- Erarbeitung eines Konzepts zur Übertragung semantischer Annotationen von Model- auf Programm-Code-Ebene
- Prototypische Validierung des konzipierten Frameworks anhand eines hinreichend komplexen, praktischen Beispiels
