General procedure of the professional internship and required forms

The Professional Practice is a compulsory module (INF-25-Ma-BPr) of the diploma program in computer science (examination regulations 2025).

Contents, qualification goals and requirements are regulated in the module description. of the Study Regulations for the diploma program in computer science (2025). Detailed information can be found in the guidelines for the implementation of the Professional Practice.

Information regarding support:

• When planning the internship, you can clarify in advance with the examiner (internship officer) whether the content and scope of the activities are suitable for the module. The following form is available for this purpose:

  INF-25-Ma-BPr (Professional Practice): Agreement

  which can be sent to the examiner.

• Choice of the internship place in consultation with the university lecturer (confirmation of the internship place, agreement on the contents of the internship report, agreement on the deadline for the internship)
•  The requirements for the module (Komplexe Leistung) include
  • the internship, which must be documented with appropriate evidence,
  • the description of the internship on form INF-25-Ma-BPr (Professional Practice), and
  • the internship report.
• The required documents must be sent to the examiner (internship officer).
