Registration for modules and courses
Once you have received your matriculation number and TU-Dresden login, you can register for modules, courses, and exams via the online platform SELMA of TU Dresden. Please observe all deadlines for registration and de-registration, in particular of exams! No exceptions are possible. Registration for modules and courses starts on March, 16 at 0:00 Uhr Mitteleuropäischer Sommerzeit.
Exams (Winter Term 2022/23)
The enrollment period for the exams in the winter semester 2022/23 depends on the type of exam. The exams are divided into different categories with different deadlines. Please note this in order to register in time.
- Written examinations and other examinations with a fixed examination date: 03.01.2023 00:00 - 15.01.2023 23:59

Individual examinations (e.g. oral examinations):
03.11.2022 00:00 - 15.01.2023 for examination performances

Individual examinations lasting several days/weeks (= examinations such as seminar papers / presentations written during the semester): 03.11.2022 00:00 - 30.11.2022 23:59

For examinations for which it is not known until after the registration deadline whether an oral or a written examination will take place (depending on the number of participants), the registration period for the written examinations applies (categorie 1.). For the exams in the winter term 2022/23, the following general rules are in place:
- The form of examination (written / oral / talk / etc.) is as defined in the module description. Changes and exceptions are not possible.
- Oral exams, talks, and presentations CAN be held via video-conference IF the examiner agrees AND the student signs the respective declaration of consent (sent to you when you register for the exam).
Notes and instructions
- Registration of modules, courses and exams is only possible if you are enrolled in the study program “Computational Modeling and Simulation”
- Before registering for an exam, it is necessary to register for the corresponding module and courses.
- (-De-)Registration of modules, courses and exams must be done within the registration period.
