Internships
Internships are voluntary for students in the degree program Computational Modeling and Simulation (CMS) and cannot be credited to CMS modules. Students who wish to gain experience through internships are encouraged to

Internships abroad are supported by
- Leonardo-Büro Sachsen: Internships abroad with Erasmus+
The Leonardo-Büro Sachsen awards approximately 200 Erasmus+ scholarships per year for study-related internships in European countries and outside Europe. You can apply all year round for a grant of at least two months per internship abroad. Depending on the destination country, you will receive a grant of 640 to 750 EUR per month. If, for example, you come from a non-academic home, have a degree of disability of 20 or more, or if you are taking your own children abroad, you can receive an additional funding of 250 EUR per month. - Leonardo-Büro Sachsen: Internships abroad with PROMOS
The Leonardo-Büro Sachsen, in cooperation with the International Office, awards PROMOS grants for internships abroad that will take place outside the countries participating in the Erasmus+ program. PROMOS supports you between 6 weeks and 6 months with a monthly scholarship between 300 and 500 EUR and/or a travel allowance between 250 and 2.000 EUR depending on the country. Applications for the Promos scholarship take place twice a year. Details can be found on the german page here.
