Soft Real-Time Scheduling - A Comparison Of ATLAS And CBS

ATLAS and CBS are soft-real-time schedulers. ATLAS schedules soft-real-time jobs alongside non-real-time ones, while CBS schedules soft-real-time jobs alongside hard-real-time ones. Both, ATLAS and CBS hold different feature sets but share the goal of minimising tardiness. My thesis introduces a way to compare ATLAS and CBS when scheduling the same workload and evaluates their behaviour on workloads with different system utilisations.
