Chair of Privacy and Security
The Chair of Privacy and Security at the Faculty of Computer Science is headed by Prof. Florian Tschorsch.
Our mission at the Chair of Privacy and Security revolves around fostering the transformative power of communication systems by ensuring they remain effective, private, and secure. We strive to understand and navigate the various trade-offs related to security and privacy, particularly under application-specific constraints. In our research and teaching, we focus on integrating security and privacy within distributed system architectures and communication protocols. We accordingly work at the intersection of distributed systems, addressing the evolving challenges posed by heterogeneous and sometimes contradictory system requirements.
Privacy and security research for a connected society.
