Dr.-Ing. Gert Pfeifer

Gert Pfeifer was one of the founder members of the CANDY Project Group at the Dresden University of Technology. Later he received his diploma due to his work about practical problems that arised in the context of the launch of SINAvpn-Technology in the German armed forces. His diploma thesis was made in cooperation with the German Federal Office of Defence and Procurement. From April 2004 until April 2009 he was a member of staff at the Dresden University of Technology, Department of Computer Science (Systems Engineering Group). He has been PI of the institute's Planet-Lab account since the nodes have been set up in July 2006. In April 2009 he joined Jettainer.
