Abstract: The target of this work is to study control algorithms for a robotic arm and sensor data fusion techniques to track the movement of a hand. The goal is for the robotic arm to mimic the movement of a person’s hand wearing a glove which movements can be
tracked. By doing so, it will be possible to grab objects with the arm remotely. The final
result is completely implemented using the mainstream robotic middleware Robot
Operating System (ROS).
