- From the A13 (from direction Berlin): at the motorway junction „Dresden-Nord“ get on the A4 towards Chemnitz. At the junction „Dresden-West“ get on the A17 towards Prague. Take the exit „Dresden-Südvorstadt“ B170/55 towards city centre (Zentrum).
- Free parking can be found on George-Bähr Str. and on Helmholtzstr.
- Paid parking can be found in front of Helmholtzstr. 8

- Using Dresden’s public transport Dresdner Verkehrsbetrieben

From the train station:
- Using Dresden’s public transport Dresdner Verkehrsbetrieben
- From the stop Dresden Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) take tram line 3 (in the direction of Coschütz) or 8 (in the direction of Südvorstadt) for two stations until you reach the stop Nürnberger Platz, or take bus line 61 or 66 two stations until the stop Technische Universität
- From the stop Bahnhof Dresden-Neustadt take tram line 3 (in the direction of Coschütz) for twelve stations until you reach the stop Nürnberger Platz
From the airport:
- Take the S-Bahn S2 from Dresden Airport to Dresden Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), then take the tram or the bus
- Approx. 30 minutes by taxi
