100 years of ITM on film - insights into the past, present and future

To mark its 100th anniversary, the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden is presenting an anniversary film that impressively documents the eventful history and impressive development of the institute.

The film shows how the ITM has developed from its historical roots into one of the world's leading research centers for textile machine construction, high-performance textile materials and smart production systems. From its beginnings to current fields of research, the film spans a century of scientific excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative solutions.

Numerous film sequences offer authentic insights into laboratories, pilot plants and project work - they not only show the technological capabilities, but also the great commitment of the employees, researchers and students at ITM.

The anniversary film was produced in close cooperation with the institute team and was professionally realized by the production company AVANGA Filmproduktion Dresden. It is now available on the official ITM YouTube channel.
