Teekanne Award 2023

On May 23 Mr. Janus Scharfenberg received the Teekanne Foundation Award . The Teekanne Foundation was established in 2007 by Teekanne GmbH & Co KG at TU Dresden to promote education in the field of processing machines. The prize is awarded annually for the best degree in the subject of strength of materials in the 3rd semester, which Janus Scharfenberg completed with a grade of 1.0.

This year, too, the award ceremony took place during the lecture of Prof. Kästner, Professor of Numerical and Experimental Solid Mechanics. After Prof. Jens-Peter Majschak presented his field of Processing Machines/Processing Technology and the aim of the Teekanne Foundation, he awarded Mr. Scharfenberg with the prize of 250€. Janus Scharfenberg received congratulations from the foundation board together with Prof. Kästner and Prof. Wallmersperger, Professor for Mechanics of Multifunctional Structures and head of the course on Strength of Materials during the evaluation period.
