Textile Machinery and High Perfomance Material Technology
The Master's in Textile and Clothing Technology is the only Master's that you can take at the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering. It is mainly taken by international students, but is offered entirely in German. The Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM), which also organizes the majority of the courses, is responsible for organizing and running the course.
An outstanding feature of this degree program is its small size of around 15 students per year and the associated good supervision by Institute staff. Nevertheless, starting a degree course at TU Dresden is often associated with a great deal of bureaucracy and challenges, especially for foreign students.
