Die Arbeitsgruppen um Prof. Lasagni belegten den 2. Platz beim Berthold-Leibinger-Innovationspreis
The Berthold Leibinger Innovationspreis honors scientists and developers who make advancements in the field of laser technology. Since 2000, the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung has given the award every two years for excellent research and development work on the application or generation of laser light.
This year, Prof. Lasagni and his team together with scientists around Prof. Mücklich from the University of Saarland and the Steinbeis Forschungszentrum Material Engineering Center Saarland (MECS) were awarded with the second place. In their application for the price, the scientist described their work in the field of Direct Laser Interference Patterning. Thereby, they focused on the variety of applications for this technology in e.g. energy harvesting, automotiv and product protection.
