International Summer School 2016, a success again!

The International Summer School of 2016 was again hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology and the chair LMO of the TU Dresden.

Approximately 40 participants discussed about the latest results and were informed about new trends in laser technology by experts from industry and research.

Furthermore, Ph.D. students from the Laser4Fun project (Marie Skolodowska Curie program) came together and presented their work on " Short Pulsed Laser Micro/Nanostructuring of Surfaces".

The program of the Summer School was composed of oral and poster presentations as well as pratical training in which the students and Ph.D. students were guided though some laboratories of the Fraunhofer IWS.
