Self-cleaning, highly transparent sensor covers in autonomous vehicles based on interference laser structuring (ClearSens)
The overall objective of the "ClearSens" project is to further develop the manufacturing processes (film production, coating and functional laser structuring) with regard to the requirements (microstructural optical functional properties, reliability) of sensor covers for LiDAR applications along the value chain addressed by the partners involved and to investigate the influences of the processes involved on the target functionalities.
Promoter: German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)
