Studies at the chair of ultra-precision surface machining using ions and plasmas
The Chair of Ultra-precision Surface Machnig using Ions and Plasmas offers several modules and lessons dealing with nanotechnology and ultra-precise surface machining topics in both summer and winter semesters.
Further information about the specific courses can be found here.
Studying at the Chair
Imparting knowledge in the field of ultra-precision surface processing to students at TU Dresden is a key focus of the Chair. Each winter semester we offer the module "Nano- and Ultraprecision Technology". In the summer semester, the module "Photonic Measurement Technology" is offered together with the Chair of Laser-based Manufacturing. We also offer the opportunity to write theses and dissertations on interesting topics at the Chair. The work usually takes place in the laboratories of the Leibniz Institute for Surface Modification e.V. in Leipzig.
