Areas of research and work:

• thermoelastic behavior of machine tools, embedded within the CRC/Transregio 96
• effective time step sizing in thermal analyses with structural variabilities
• numerical analysis of micro damping within assemblies of honeycomb-panels used in astronautics
• numerical based fatigue strength analysis of industrial bioreactor facilities according to FKM-guideline
