Mechatronics introductory project 2024: Practice-oriented introduction to mechatronics

Last week, first-semester mechatronics students had the opportunity to put their technical knowledge and creative skills to practical use as part of the introductory mechatronics project. In an intensive, week-long workshop, robots were developed and programmed, which then had to master various tasks in a final competition.

This practice-oriented project not only provided the students with valuable insights into the world of mechatronics, but also gave them an initial motivational boost for their upcoming studies.

We congratulate all participants on their commitment and the results achieved. Special thanks go to the student tutors and the staff of the Chair of Vehicle Mechatronics and the Chair of Machine Tools Development and Adaptive Controls, who actively supported the project.

We are confident that the enthusiasm and team spirit from this week will accompany the students in the further course of their studies.
