About InnoLAB
InnoLAB - Innovative Learning Across Borders is a cooperation project funded by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ program, which aims to further develop education in chemical engineering in an innovative, practical and European networked way. Four European universities are working together to design new didactic concepts and teaching materials that focus on key topics such as sustainability, life cycle analysis, digitalization and process intensification.
The motivation for the project lies in a rapidly changing industrial and social environment: the energy and raw materials transition, digital transformation and international cooperation require new skills and a stronger link between research, industry and teaching. InnoLAB meets these challenges with an innovative, skills-based and cooperative learning approach.
Core activities of the project include the development of industry-related case studies, the creation of digital learning tools and close cooperation between students, teachers and researchers across national borders. The aim is to promote the acquisition of skills and increase the quality of engineering education in the long term.
