Welcome to InnoLAB - Innovative Learning Across Borders

A European project for the further development of engineering teaching in the field of chemical process engineering

InnoLAB is an Erasmus+ cooperation project that has set itself the goal of further developing education in the field of chemical process engineering in a future-oriented and practical manner. In view of the rapid pace of technological change, global energy and sustainability challenges and the increasing need for interdisciplinary skills, engineering education requires new didactic approaches.

The project focuses on four subject areas that are particularly relevant from a technical and social perspective:

• Sustainability
• Life cycle analysis
• Process intensification
• digitalization

The aim of InnoLAB is to integrate current research findings and industrial challenges into university education in the form of case-based teaching materials. Innovative concepts for skills-oriented teaching are developed, tested and refined in close cooperation between university lecturers, early-career researchers, students and representatives from industry and research.

The international focus and the integration of digital teaching and learning formats will also strengthen cross-border cooperation and enable students to prepare for the demands of an increasingly globalized working environment.
