Review 57th Power Plant Technology Colloquium 2025
The 57th Power Plant Technology Colloquium took place on October 7 and 8, 2025 at the International Congress Center Dresden. The event comprised a plenary session, a panel discussion, 91 specialist presentations by renowned experts and a fully booked company exhibition with 105 exhibitors.
Participants from industry, politics and science used the conference as a comprehensive platform to discuss the latest developments and innovations in power plant technology and energy supply. This year, 981 people took part on site and 10 more online via LineUpr.
The KWTK 2025 focused on topics such as hydrogen technologies, operation and maintenance, modern plant service, CO₂ capture, biomass utilization, emission reduction, security of supply and nuclear energy systems.

Während der Plenarveranstaltung war der Saal nahezu vollständig besetzt.

Eines der Highlights des 57. KWTK: Die Podiumsdiskussion. Die Gäste (v.l.n.r.): Dr. Christof Günther, Dr. Andreas Handschuh, Jürgen Pfeiffer, Daniel Keller, Dr.-Ing. Heiko Knopf und Adolf Roesch. Online zugeschaltet war Dr. Christian Ehler.

Laurenz May, M.Sc. (RWTH Aachen University) empfängt den Boie-Preis für seine herausragende Arbeit zur Auswirkung der Flexibilisierung und Wasserstoffverbrennung in Gasturbinen auf die Entwicklung von H2-ready Kompensatoren.
Ein Eindruck von der das KWTK begleitenden Firmenmesse. Über 100 Aussteller präsentierten sich – wie gewohnt mit großem Besucherinteresse.
Die Abendveranstaltung des KWTK bot beste Stimmung dank anregender Gespräche, leckerem Essen und Livemusik in entspannter Atmosphäre.
