"Application-relevant characterization of powders and suspensions"
on February 11 & 12, 2025

In February 2025, the Mechanical Process Engineering working group is organising a seminar on the application-relevant characterisation of powders and suspensions together with Anton Paar Germany GmbH. This includes the measurement of relevant particle characteristics (such as size and shape) and macroscopic powder properties (such as cohesiveness and dustiness). The seminar introduces measurement techniques and preparation techniques for wet and dry analysis and teaches the basics of powder characterisation. Practical examples from research and industry and interactive case studies demonstrate how this knowledge can be used for given analytical tasks.
