Motivation
The research of the combined team from the Process Systems Engineering Group and the Chair of Process Control Systems focuses on the following topics
- modularization (Video about Modularization in Process Industries: MTP – The Age of Modular Production | 2021),
- digitalization and
- artificial intelligence
in the process industry. We apply our methods in various areas of the process industry. Examples are
- hydrogen technology and power-to-X applications
- bioprocess engineering and pharmaceutical processes
- carbon fiber production in lightweight construction
The concepts and methods developed are implemented and tested practically in the P2O Lab.
