Congratulations on Dr. Wei Jiang as Humboldt Research Fellowship
As informed by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Dr. Wei Jiang from Hefei University of Technology, China, has been awarded a Humboldt Fellowship for Postdocs, with our institute as the host institution and Professor Kerstin Eckert as the host professor.
Established in 1959 and named after the renowned German naturalist and explorer Alexander von Humboldt, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation aims to provide research funding for exceptional young scholars and scientists worldwide. Its mission includes fostering exchange and collaboration among scholars and scientists on an international scale.
Wei previously visited our department as an exchange PhD student from April 2019 to October 2020. Following the completion of his PhD, he served as a lecturer at Hefei University of Technology. Wei will be rejoining us in September 2024 for a two-year period to continue his research on the mechanism of magnetic field-controlled jet electrodeposition for micro-nano structure composite electrodes in water electrolysis. We extend our best wishes to him for a successful stay with our institute!
