Studying at the ANW Chair
The Chair of Inorganic Non-metallic Materials (ANW) provides four lectures on the subject of ceramic materials. Furthermore, the chair provides the opportunity to author graduate theses at Fraunhofer IKTS.

Range of Lectures
The Chair of Inorganic Non-metallic Materials (ANW) provides the following lectures as part of the Materials Science course of studies.
- Ceramic materials and practical training for the 4th semester material science + part of the lecture "High performance materials" for VNT (summer semester)
- Processes-microstructures-properties of ceramic materials for the 5th semester (winter semester)
- Functional ceramic materials for the 8th semester (summer semester)
Furthermore, a joint lecture with the Chair of Powder Metallurgy, Sintering, and Composite Materials is offered:
- Energy engineering materials for the 9th semester material science (winter semester)
Additional lectures are organized for the courses of studies of the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering:
- Lecture “Fuel cell systems and electrolysis” (Dr. M. Jahn)
- Lecture “Lightweight construction - ceramic materials” (Dr. U. Scheithauer)
