ILK exhibits at JEC World 2023 in Paris
The Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at Technische Universität Dresden will be exhibiting at this year's JEC World in Paris, the world's largest composites trade fair, from 25.04.23 to 27.04.23 with a booth in the Campus Village. The Campus Village in Hall 5 is a new area at JEW World 2023 dedicated to education and training. Young engineers with excellent education are in high demand, especially among manufacturers of composites and composite parts. The ILK will present itself as one of 10 partners from different countries with its excellent training program. ILK scientists Dr. Sebastian Spitzer, Friedrich Töpfer, Jan Condé-Wolter and Eckart Kunze will take turns being on site as contact persons.
In addition to taking care of the booth with information material, the ILK will also have a lecture slot on Thursday, April 27 at 5:05 p.m., in which ILK staff member Dipl.-Ing. Friedrich Töpfer will present the independent lightweight construction field of study at the TU Dresden.
Furthermore, the ILK will be exhibiting a lightweight engine structure from the LuFo project PEP4.0 in a showcase of the company Hightex at booth D79 in hall 5 at the Saxon joint booth. The engine structure is a structural and aerodynamic engine guide vane on a variable-axis fiber-plastic composite, which is used in an intermediate housing in titanium/FRP hybrid construction.
