The research project deals with process pattern recognition and the efficiency evaluation of drive systems of mobile machines in order to obtain detailed information for the efficient drive design. Using the example of an 18 t mobile excavator, the detection system is described using Hidden-Markov models and the efficiency evaluation using reverse simulation of the determined operating points.
