On the one hand, the digitalization of the operating environment opens up new possibilities for supportive design. The use of new control elements or visualization technologies makes this possible. On the other hand, the increasing networking of the construction site requires display-based operating environments in the cabins. The aim of the INTUSI research project was to develop such an operating environment for Liebherr excavators. The particular focus was on:
- Adaptive function configurations
- Integration of a display terminal
- The implementation of automated sub-functions
- Simplified, direct and intuitive operation
