International Fluid Power Collaboration: Prof. Weber Visits Naples
Joint Seminar with International Experts
During this summer semester 2025, Prof. Jürgen Weber from our Chair of Fluidtronic visited the University of Naples "Federico II". Together with Prof. Andrea Vacca from the Maha Fluid Power Research Center at Purdue University, he conducted a seminar at the Fluid Power Lab led by Prof. Adolfo Senatore.
Scientific Exchange at the Highest Level
The joint seminar brought together leading experts from international fluid power research. Prof. Weber and Prof. Vacca - both recognized authorities in the field - discussed current developments and possible future scenarios in fluid power technology with Italian students and researchers.
The enthusiastic reactions underscore the success of this international collaboration. Such direct encounters with experts from different countries are invaluable for students and researchers alike.
Strengthening International Networks
Events like these demonstrate how important international exchange is in academia. The collaboration between our professorship at TU Dresden, the Maha Fluid Power Research Center at Purdue University, and the Fluid Power Research Group at the University of Naples not only strengthens personal connections between researchers, but also enriches teaching and opens new perspectives for future projects.
We are delighted about such opportunities for scientific exchange and thank Prof. Senatore for the invitation to Naples!
