Theory Meets Practice: RAPA Demo Car Visits TU Dresden
Experiencing modern chassis technology up close
This summer semester, our Chair received a special visit: the RAPA Demo Car made a stop at TU Dresden and brought state-of-the-art chassis technology directly to our students and researchers.
Dynamic engineering education
What often remains abstract in the lecture hall suddenly became tangible: Students could experience firsthand how theoretical concepts from fluid-mechatronics are implemented in the automotive industry. The demo car impressively demonstrated how innovation and engineering excellence shape tomorrow's mobility.
Particularly valuable was the direct exchange between RAPA experts and our students. Questions about practical implementation, development challenges, and future technologies could be discussed directly with practitioners - an enrichment that no textbook can replace.

Cooperation between industry and academia
Such initiatives are especially valuable for us as educators. They not only show our students where their education can lead, but also how relevant their future activities will be for society. The enthusiasm we saw in our students' eyes confirms our approach to practice-oriented teaching.
Collaboration with companies like RAPA is an important building block of our educational philosophy. Only through direct contact with practice can we ensure that our graduates are optimally prepared for future challenges.
Inspiration for the next generation
The visit of the RAPA Demo Car was more than technical instruction – it was an inspiration for the next generation of engineers. In times when mobility is undergoing fundamental change, it's important that our students understand how they can actively help shape this transformation.
We thank the RAPA team for this valuable initiative and look forward to further collaborations of this kind!

Would you also like to present your innovations to our students and researchers? We're happy to support you - because such encounters not only create valuable knowledge transfer between theory and practice, but also offer you the opportunity to discover potential young talent and inspire them for your company. We look forward to hearing from you!
