Hybrid teaching development
The Corona pandemic has led to an abrupt change in teaching structures through a massive addition of digital teaching components. The impetus for renewal that emerged from this period must now be used to modernize university teaching and transform it into a form adapted to the living conditions of students.
As part of the hybrid teaching development working group, we are looking at integrating digital components into traditional face-to-face teaching. A major focus is on the development of new types of practical training concepts for large groups of students, as is usually the case in engineering.
In addition, a learning goal-oriented evaluation of courses is an essential direction of development, which should make it possible to quantitatively evaluate new types of teaching concepts.
In order to make the findings from the modernization processes in teaching widely available, we have launched the Lessons Learned Conference and the
associated Open Access Journal.
