Based on the basic knowledge of the subject machine elements, the student acquires in the course drive technology special knowledge about characteristics and selection, operating behaviour, load and loadability of essential drive elements and is thus enabled to develop assemblies as well as complete drive and working machines of the machine and vehicle construction. The in-depth teaching of the fundamentals of the calculation and design of planetary gears enables the student to integrate these effectively and in a targeted manner into the drive train. The course is also suitable for compulsory and optional participation.
