Visit the construciton site of the Smart Mobility Lab
An exclusive look at a visionary project in Lusatia!
On Sunday, June 28, 2026, the Smart Mobility Lab (SML) in Schwarzkollm, Hoyerswerda, will open its construction site to all interested citizens from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On this day, you’ll have the opportunity to get a firsthand look at one of the region’s most significant research and structural transformation projects. Guided tours of the construction site and presentations on the research areas will demonstrate how innovative technologies for connected, automated, and eco-friendly mobility are being developed and tested at the Smart Mobility Lab.
In addition to exciting insights into the current progress of construction work, the program will focus on personal exchanges with scientists and information about future research activities. Local clubs from Schwarzkollm will provide food and drinks.
The Chair of Agricultural Systems Technology is also part of the Smart Mobility Lab and will help shape the future of this interdisciplinary research center.
