What is processing technology?
Processing technology deals with the development of technological processes, machines and systems for the production, packaging and recycling of consumer goods. The aim is to find technological solutions in a dynamic field between the global supply situation, ecological and economic sustainability and demographic and social factors.
What does the course offer?
The course provides knowledge and working methods on
- Fundamentals and methods of processing natural and synthetic materials (e.g. films, papers, food...)
- Fundamentals of machine structures, systems, influences on flexibility, reliability, efficiency
- Processing machines/plants (design, construction, simulation, project planning)
- Hygienic design of processes and machines
