Young Talent Award for Stefan Seifert at the 9. Mitteldeutscher Ernährungsgipfel

On November 5, 2025, our graduate Stefan Seifert received the Young Talent Award during the Nachwuchsforum of the 9. Mitteldeutscher Ernährungsgipfel, held at the Dynamo Stadium in Dresden. His diploma thesis, conducted in cooperation with the Vegane Fleischerei, focuses on establishing an industrial production process for Yuba – a fully plant-based, biodegradable material that can be used as a functional, edible casing or sustainable packaging alternative for plant-based foods, meeting modern demands for naturalness, sustainability and transparency.
