WIG Studienpreis 2026
As part of the 14th Frühjahrstagung des Weihenstephaner Instituts für Getreideforschung, the WIG Studienpreis 2026 for student research projects related to cereals or baking technology was awarded on March 24, 2026. Our Chair was represented this year by Helen Lindemann, who won the award with her project "Pumpkin seed press cake: Use in wheat breads after enzymatic cross-linking of the protein fraction" took first place. After a pre-evaluation of the submitted theses, the three finalists were allowed to present their work at the conference in a 5-minute presentation. The audience then voted on the placings.
