Connecting Research and Industry at 3DBODY.TECH 2025
Last week, our team had the pleasure of taking part in the 16th 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo in beautiful Lugano, Switzerland.
This event has become a true staple in our annual calendar – and for good reason. It brings together experts from academia and industry who are shaping the future of 3D/4D human body scanning, body data, and processing technologies.
We truly value the open exchange of ideas, the insightful presentations, and the chance to connect with so many inspiring people working at the intersection of research and real-world application.
A big thank-you to Nicola D'Apuzzo, PhD for putting together such a well-organized and inspiring event. We’re already looking forward to next year!
Our team presented its latest work in the field of 3D and 4D scanning:
Ingrid Estefany Peraza: OSSO vs SKEL: A Comparative Study of Skeletal Inference from 4D Body Scans
Niklas Schmidt: Investigation of the Fit of Face Masks During Speaking Using 3D and 4D Scanning
Lilly römer: Development of an Automated Method for Removing Objects from 4D Scan Dataset
Olena Kyzymchuk: Analysis of geometry changes of the body wearing compression products using 4D scanning
