Alumni meeting 2024
Over two days, the ITM guided a total of 3 seminar groups with graduates of the textile machine construction course from the 1970s and 1980s through the textile machine halls of the ITM.

At this alumni meeting, the ITM was able to present current results from a large number of research projects.
There were insights into the development of woven heart valves for humans, yarn constructions made from grated crab shells and near-net-shape stitch-knitted carbon grids for concrete reinforcement.

In addition, new and further developments in mechanical engineering were presented, which astonished the participants, especially with regard to the productivity of the machines.
