Test Field of Machine Tools
The test field is the efficient and experimental basis for teaching and research in the field of machine tools and production facilities as well as their controls.
The subject of the work in the test field on the one hand is to convey practical and methodological knowledge about the experimental analysis as well as the construction and features of typical machine tools and their main components. On the other hand, the well-equipped test stands provide the work on current research projects and subsequent services.
The tests can be carried out directly on the machines and their components with mobile measuring technology:
- accuracy tests, incl. machine acceptance tests according to DIN ISO 230-1, -2, -4
- static and dynamic behaviour, modal analysis
- press measurement under load (DIN 55189)
- thermal behaviour (incl. DIN ISO 230-3)
- acoustic behaviour, noise measurement according to DIN 45635 (E DIN ISO 230-5)
