Research
The RCCF scientists are researching the interactions between process parameters, fibre structure and other mechanical, thermal and electrical properties in the production of carbon fibres in order to further enhance the capabilities of this high-tech material. In addition, the researchers are focusing on the development of multifunctional fibres with novel property profiles such as high conductivity with high strength or pronounced ductility, as well as the use of renewable raw materials.
