Pharmaceutical Engineering 2024 - Successful block lecture enters its second round!

After last year's successful start, we are pleased to once again offer a two-day block lecture on April 11 and 12 and an excursion to Hamburg on July 4 and 5.

A guest lecturer from industry will hold the block lecture, whose expertise will provide a direct insight into the diverse processes and challenges of everyday industrial life. Key topics include the processing of pharmaceuticals, machine requirements and regulated project processes. Particular attention is paid to the technical discussion and application examples in the field of containment - a crucial rewuirement to protect operators.

The interdisciplinary mix of students from different backgrounds, including mechanical engineering, process engineering, natural materials engineering and materials science, contributes significantly to the interactive perspective of the topic in lectures and group learning phases.

During the excursion to a leading machine manufacturer, the knowledge acquired in the lecture is applied in practice. The train journey to Hamburg and the evening activities provide an opportunity to discuss study experiences and perspectives.
