Excellent Training - Broad Range of Choices
Mechanical engineering, process engineering and natural product engineering, materials science, textile and confectionery technology, mechatronics and regenerative energy systems. Six courses of study combine a total of 25 specialisations - from general mechanical engineering to bioprocess engineering, from energy efficiency to applied materials science, from food technology to automotive technology and textile lightweight construction up to aerospace. The broader the range of choices, the more flexible our students can decide what they would like to specialise in, beginning with their 5th semester.

Diploma in Engineering: it remains a trademark
TU Dresden is one of the few German universities with a requirement to follow a traditional path to the Diplom in engineering science. This makes us strong in maintaining a globally recognised quality promise, a national trademark and the best possible education in the international university jungle.
