Summer School "Swarm Master: Drone Fleet Commander Bootcamp" at TU Riga - five scholarships for TUD ING students
TU Dresden offers its students the unique opportunity to participate in the summer school "The Swarm Master: Drone Fleet Commander Bootcamp" at the TUD Dresden University of Technology in Riga.
The Swarm Master: Drone Fleet Commander Bootcamp is an intensive summer school that takes a deep dive into the world of drones. This program is ideal for anyone fascinated by the potential of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Participants will experience an exciting mix of theoretical knowledge and practical experience that will enable them to master the art of controlling and coordinating drone fleets.
The program offers a varied curriculum that covers all aspects of drone technology, from the basics of mechanics to advanced topics such as the integration of artificial intelligence and autonomous flight. Participants will have the opportunity to pilot drones, gain skills in flying, navigating and operating these complex machines and develop a deeper understanding of aviation.
Participants will take part in exciting group projects that challenge creativity and problem solving skills. These projects allow us to apply what we have learned and develop practical solutions to real-world challenges. This program is the gateway to becoming a qualified drone pilot ready to navigate the skies and shape the future of drone technology.
The summer university will take place from July 22 to August 2, 2024 and is aimed at students enrolled in degree programs such as telecommunications, mechatronics, computer science and information technology. The participation fee of 1000 euros will be waived for five TU Dresden students as part of a cooperation project between TU Riga and TU Dresden in the T.I.M.E. network. Participants will receive a certificate from the university and 6 ECTS credits. Accommodation in shared rooms is available on request.
Interested TU Dresden students are asked to contact Maike Heitkamp-Mai to register for this exciting summer event.
