ERASMUS+ from 2021
Every institution which applies for EU funding with ERASMUS+ must also apply for an ERASMUS Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) with the ERASMUS Policy Statement. Read TU Dresden’s Erasmus Policy Statement for 2021 to 2027 (in German).
Key Action 1: Promotion of mobility As an important component of internationalization at European universities, the Erasmus+ Program will be continued in 2021 and onwards using the same program structure that was in effect until 2020. The latest generation of the ERASMUS program, which will run until 2027, places the emphasis on inclusion – that is, reaching more disadvantaged young people – digitalization and Green ERASMUS. To this end, TU Dresden shall conclude bilateral ERASMUS agreements with its European partner universities ("inter-institutional agreements") and both the sending the receiving institution must be holders of an ERASMUS Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) 2021–2027. An ERASMUS agreement must be founded on and guarantee a sound, subject-based collaboration to ensure that the partnership will be long-lasting and entails mobility in both directions for students and teachers alike. If you are planning a new ERASMUS partnership for student exchanges or are adapting a current partnership, please follow these guidelines. You will find an Inter-Institutional ERASMUS Agreement template here. For exchanges scheduled for 2021 (2021/22 academic year), all valid agreements will automatically be valid for an additional year, according to the EU Commission. From 2022 onwards, all inter-institutional agreements must be completed digitally via Erasmus Without Paper. More information: German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) |
Key Action 2: This program line funds partnerships and collaborative projects between universities. The activities that receive funding must support the internationalization of the universities involved, promote quality in teaching and contribute to networking among universities as well as with wider society and businesses. The university area supports strategic partnerships, knowledge alliances, international capacity building projects in higher education (between universities in the EU and European neighboring states or Asian, Latin American or African countries) Contact for Key Action 2 at TU Dresden: European Project Center |
