ERASMUS+ mobility with partner countries
Erasmus+ mobility with partner countries (KA171) offers German universities the opportunity of academic exchange and collaboration with nearly all global and partner countries.
Erasmus+ funds the following exchange measures:
- Stays abroad during Bachelor’s, Master’s (incl. Diplom or State Examination) and Doctoral degree programs with a duration of between 2 and 12 months or blended mobility, with a physical stay of between 5 and 30 days abroad combined with an obligatory virtual component
- University employee stays abroad (academic and non-academic staff) for teaching or training and continuing education of between 5 days and 2 months
- Internships (at least 2 months)
Depending on their own strategic focuses, European universities can submit annual proposals for quality-oriented exchange measures with partner universities in (non-EU) partner countries. The latest call for projects ended on February 23rd, 2022, with a start date of August 1st, 2022, and running for 36 months. TU Dresden has received funding through July 31st, 2025, for 11 partner country projects. Additionally, TU Dresden was involved with a consortium proposal from LEOSACHSEN (internships and training stays in preparation for internships).
Current information for the 2023 call for applications: In December 2022, the “Mobility with partner countries” funding line (project start in August 2023) was advertised at TU Dresden. Sub-Saharan Africa and the Western Balkan countries form the focus of this year’s proposal. We are particularly confident that applications for cooperation agreements with universities in this region will be approved. Collaboration will be continued this year with the LEONARDO-BÜRO SACHSEN, which is responsible for preparing the application for the funding of internship and internship support training stays. The contact is Ms. Claudia Schönherr (claudia.schoenherr@tu-dresden.de). The International Office prepares TU Dresden’s central application for study, teaching and training stay funding. The contact in this matter is Ms. Sarah Nieder (sarah.nieder@tu-dresden.de). Please reach out to the appropriate contact for more detailed information on the current call for applications as well as application documents and tips on submission. TUD’s deadline for application submission is January 14th, 2023.
We would like to invite you to a joint information event hosted by the International Office and the LEONARDO-BÜRO SACHSEN regarding application for the above funding lines. It will take place on December 15th, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Please contact us for the link to the event.
