The EU funding program Interreg Saxony- Czechia 2021-2027 continues to offer attractive opportunities for funding cross-border projects that make a clear contribution to improving cooperation in the border region. The focus lies on the joint approach of developing long-term solutions to existing challenges with partners from Saxony and Czechia.

Current funding opportunities exist for innovative project ideas, particularly in the area of cooperation between public administrations and civil society (priority 4, specific objective 6.2).

Funding is available for projects that:

• improve the efficiency and cooperation of public administration offices on both sides of the border
• strengthen cooperation between citizens, civil society and institutions
• contribute to the removal of legal and administrative obstacles in the border region,
• contribute to the establishment of joint structures and permanent networks.

• Local authorities and organizations founded by them

• Civil society
