Continuing education for the staff of TU Dresden
Continuing education is part and parcel of personnel development at TU Dresden. There are therefore extensive opportunities for continuing education for academic staff, staff in administration und technology, leadership and young researchers at TU Dresden.
Target groups
All employees at TU Dresden can choose from a wide choice of programmes:
- Continuing education courses and counselling offered by the Center for Continuing Education (ZfW), especially in the areas of teaching and learning in higher education, leadership, communication, project competence and self-management, and intercultural communication.

- A variety of continuing education and consultation offers in the subject areas of higher education and media didactics, leadership, communication, intercultural competence and self-organisation is offered by the Centre for Continuing Education. Moreover, individual offers for faculties or institutes can be developed on request in accordance with requirements of content and time.

- the Graduate Academy offers a qualification programme on the subjects of research management, academic work, leadership, communication and self-organisation.

The Graduate Academy offers a qualification programme for doctoral and post-doctoral students.
The SprInt Programme is a free continuing education programme for language and intercultural qualifications for non-academic staff at TU Dresden.
The University of Public Administration and Administration of Justice Meißen (FH) offers an extensive training programme as a training centre in the Free State of Saxony (FoBiz, formerly AVS Meißen) on topics such as leadership, communication, EU, international affairs, languages, cross-departmental legal issues, IT, economic administration, interdisciplinary issues, demography or also psychiatry.
