Special days in the SLUB TextLab with on-site Writing Counselling and short Coffee Lectures
Be on site again! On September 13, 16 and 17, action days around scientific writing will take place at the SLUB TextLab, Library August-Bebel-Str. 18:
Monday, 13.09.
- 9:00 - 10:30: Workshop "Schreibsorgenraum" (in German) with Falk Seidel, registration via SLUB
- 10:00 - 13:00: Writing Counselling with writing peer tutor Robert, appointment via OPAL or depending on capacity spontaneously on site (in the garden or at the consulting table)
- 14:15 - 14:30: Coffee Lecture in the Community Garden (in case of bad weather: break room on the ground floor) with Writing Peer Tutor Robert on writing drafts (in German) and a coffee or tea for free :)
- 9:00 - 17:00: Learn about the stages of the writing process at the Writing Process Walk exhibit in the Community Garden.
(On Tuesday, 14.09. and Wednesday, 15.09. the library in August-Bebel-Straße will be closed).
Thursday, 16.09.
- 10:00 - 11:30: Workshop "Literaturverwaltung im Überblick: Schwerpunkte Citavi und Zotero" (in German) with Christina Wenzel, registration via SLUB.
- 10:00 - 13:00: Writing consultation with writing peer tutor Paulina, appointment via OPAL or depending on capacity spontaneously on site (in the garden or at the consulting table)
- 14:15 - 14:30: Coffee Lecture in the Community Garden (in case of bad weather: break room on the ground floor) with writing peer tutor Paulina on writing strategies (in German) and a coffee or tea for free :)
- 9:00 - 17:00: Learn about the stages of the writing process at the Writing Process Walk exhibit in the Community Garden.
Friday, 17.09.
- 10:30 - 12:00: Workshop "Zitat statt Plagiat" (in German) with Christine Faber, registration via SLUB
- 10:00 - 13:00: Writing consultation with writing peer tutor Sharon, appointment via OPAL or depending on capacity spontaneously on site (in the garden or at the consulting table)
- 14:15 - 14:30: Coffee Lecture in the Community Garden (in case of bad weather: break room on the ground floor) with writing peer tutor Sharon on what creative and scientific writing can learn from each other (in German) and a coffee or tea for free :)
- 9:00 - 17:00: Learn about the stages of the writing process at the Writing Process Walk exhibit in the Community Garden.

- Please register in advance for each offering if possible.
- If you spontaneously attend something, we will collect your contact information on-site so that we can ensure contact tracking in case of infection. Additionally, you can check in via the Corona alert app, see TU Dresden's instructions for students (PDF).
- If you have not yet been vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 or have recovered from a COVID-19 infection within the last 6 months, please bring a negative Corona test from a testing center no more than 24 hours old to the workshops and Coffee Lectures.
