Saxon Career Services secure professionals for the region
Studied in Saxony - and then?
Employees of the Career Services of Saxon universities met in Zwickau on December 2 to exchange ideas on how the regional retention of skilled workers can continue to succeed. The participants presented their own successful projects, which, among other things, help to make graduates aware of the region's "hidden champions" and encourage them to start their careers in our region.
Review of a successful 2022
The Career Service of the TU Dresden was also able to report on several successful events in the past year. The highlight was the Tour de Dresden, which was held for the first time this year in September and was an immediate success. For a whole week, students were able to visit up to 14 companies in Dresden and the surrounding area on excursions, and at the end of the week, they were able to talk casually with employees at a get-together.
2023 also has a lot to offer
Numerous events and offers are planned again for next year. In January, the career fair "Branchentreff" will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The Tour de Dresden will also go into a second round in September. A new event is Job Dating, which will take place for the first time in May in the Alte Mensa. There, students can talk to employers and discuss opportunities for starting a career, internships and thesis work.
