This year, we are once again looking forward to a proud series of exciting spring, summer, autumn and winter schools that will open up Dresden as a science location to young researchers from all over the world and make the diversity and interdisciplinarity of our research and teaching tangible.

Our comprehensive overview of the numerous summer schools in Dresden 2025 is now available to all students and junior scientists.

In addition, we have further expanded our support services for school organizers. We now provide a helpful guide to planning, holding and following up a school as well as a small overview of catering providers in Dresden. Please request these documents via E-Mail.

Another focus of the support services will be to highlight the extraordinary cultural offerings of the city of Dresden for both organizers and potential participants.

We would like to invite you, the school organizers, to discover cooperation opportunities with Dresden's cultural institutions for the supporting program of your summer schools and thus create valuable connections between science, culture and urban society. Participation in a Dresden Summer School should thus make young international scientists curious about an open, diverse and innovative Dresden.

Organizers and anyone interested in the "summer school" format should make a note of 12.06.2025. In a networking event under the motto "Science meets Culture" at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum, the "Season of Excellence" team would like to connect you with stakeholders from the cultural institutions of the DRESDENconcept Alliance so that new cooperations can be established and culture and science can inspire and enrich each other. Invitations and registration will follow in April and May although we gladly receive your intention of participation at any time.
